These terms apply to creators joining Scroll Theory’s creator network or participating in brand campaigns, UGC projects and collaboration opportunities.
Last Updated: May 2026
These Terms & Conditions are intended to set clear expectations between Scroll Theory and creators. They do not constitute legal advice. For formal legal requirements, consult a qualified legal professional.
1. Introduction
These Creator Terms & Conditions apply to creators, influencers, UGC creators, content creators and social media personalities who submit their details to Scroll Theory or participate in campaigns managed by Scroll Theory.
By joining our creator network, submitting your information or participating in any campaign opportunity, you agree to these terms.
2. Creator Eligibility
Creators must provide accurate and truthful information including name, social media handles, contact details, category, follower count, average views and collaboration preferences.
Creators must own or have authorized access to the social media accounts submitted to Scroll Theory.
Creators under 18 years of age may require parent or guardian consent before participating in paid collaborations or campaigns.
3. Creator Network
Submitting your details does not guarantee campaign selection, brand deals, earnings or confirmed collaborations.
Scroll Theory may review your profile, content style, audience quality, niche relevance and brand fit before sharing opportunities.
Creators may be contacted for brand collaborations, UGC work, campaign-based opportunities or long-term representation depending on their selected preference and brand requirements.
4. Exclusive & Non-Exclusive Representation
Creators may choose how they want to work with Scroll Theory, including exclusive representation, non-exclusive representation, brand collaborations only, UGC content opportunities or campaign-based collaborations.
Exclusive representation means Scroll Theory may act as the primary agency for brand deal discussions, subject to separate written confirmation.
Non-exclusive representation means creators may continue working with other agencies, brands or managers.
No exclusive relationship will be considered active unless clearly agreed in writing by both Scroll Theory and the creator.
5. Campaign Participation
Creators are free to accept or reject campaign opportunities shared by Scroll Theory unless a separate campaign agreement has already been confirmed.
Once a creator accepts a campaign, they are expected to follow the approved brief, timeline, deliverables and communication requirements.
Failure to complete accepted deliverables may impact future campaign opportunities.
6. Content Guidelines
Creators must create original, authentic and brand-safe content as per the approved campaign brief.
Creators must not make false, misleading, harmful or unverified claims about any brand, product or service.
Creators must not use copyrighted music, visuals, images, logos or third-party material without proper rights or permission.
Creators must follow the rules and community guidelines of the platform where content is published.
7. Disclosure & Advertising Compliance
Creators must clearly disclose sponsored or paid collaborations where required by law, platform rules or advertising guidelines.
Creators may be required to use labels such as #ad, #sponsored, paid partnership tools or other disclosure formats as per applicable ASCI or platform guidelines.
Creators are responsible for ensuring that their content is transparent and compliant.
8. Profile Showcase Permission
If a creator gives permission, Scroll Theory may feature their public creator profile across our website, creator network, social media channels, marketing material, proposals or brand-facing presentations.
This may include public information such as creator name, handle, profile photo, niche, city, follower range, content category and public social media metrics.
Creators may request removal from public showcase or brand-facing material by contacting Scroll Theory.
9. Creator Data & Public Information
Scroll Theory may collect information submitted by creators through forms, emails, social media messages or other communication channels.
Scroll Theory may also review publicly available creator information such as social media profiles, public posts, follower count, engagement quality and content style for campaign suitability.
Creator data is used for creator discovery, campaign planning, brand shortlisting and collaboration opportunities.
10. Payments
Payment terms, amount, timeline and mode will be communicated separately for each confirmed campaign.
Creators must provide correct payment details where required.
Payments may be processed after deliverables are completed, approved and verified, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Any taxes, invoices or compliance requirements applicable to the creator remain the creator’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
11. Content Usage Rights
Creators retain ownership of their original content unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Brands may receive usage rights for creator content only as per the campaign agreement.
Additional paid usage, ad usage, whitelisting, boosting or extended licensing may require separate approval and pricing.
12. Communication
Scroll Theory will contact creators only through official @scrolltheory.in emails, official phone/WhatsApp communication or @scrolltheory.studio Instagram.
Creators should avoid responding to unofficial accounts claiming to represent Scroll Theory.
Creators should report suspicious communication to creators@scrolltheory.in.
13. Prohibited Activity
Creators must not submit fake followers, fake engagement, misleading analytics or incorrect pricing information.
Creators must not impersonate another creator, misrepresent brand relationships or misuse campaign information.
Creators must not publish abusive, defamatory, offensive, discriminatory, illegal or harmful content in relation to Scroll Theory, brands or campaigns.
Creators must not leak confidential campaign details, pricing, contracts or brand briefs without permission.
14. Removal or Suspension
Scroll Theory may remove or suspend creators from its network if they provide false information, violate campaign obligations, use fake engagement, breach confidentiality or act against brand safety.
Scroll Theory may also decline to share opportunities without providing specific reasons.
15. No Guarantee
Joining Scroll Theory does not guarantee brand deals, fixed income, campaign selection, follower growth or social media performance.
Campaign opportunities depend on brand requirements, creator fit, audience quality, availability and market demand.
16. Limitation of Liability
Scroll Theory acts as a facilitator and campaign partner between brands and creators.
Scroll Theory is not responsible for platform algorithm changes, reach reduction, account restrictions, content performance or audience reaction.
Creators are responsible for their own content, accounts, statements and compliance.
17. Changes to Terms
Scroll Theory may update these Creator Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Continued participation in our creator network or campaigns after updates means you accept the revised terms.
